Meet Frederick Wisdom, better known as Toots, the Rastafarian cuckoo.

A call at 7.30am one morning from Malcolm went something like this: “Morning Chris, I’ve had a great idea, let’s make the cuckoo in the clock a Rastafarian.”

“I’ll just make a cuppa Malc, call you later.”
Had Malc finally flipped ? The idea was so bizarre it was genius.

The search was on for someone to fit the bill, we eventually found Fred, residing in Wolverhampton.

With a career going back 40 years in the music business, a classically-trained guitarist, a songwriter and most importantly a reggae singer, Fred was the obvious choice.

Malcolm, Chris and Dave set about writing a great reggae song for the world’s first Rastafarian cuckoo, we named him Toots.
